  • Filters 1,200 gallons (4,542 L) of water per hour using a powerful .25 HP pump and 12" tank.

  • Includes (2) 1.5" ID (inside diameter) hoses, (2) Plunger Valves, (2) Hose Adapter "B" fittings for using on smaller Intex pools with 1.25" hoses.

  • Recommended for 15' and larger Intex swimming pools

  • Extra tough pump enclosure and included leaf basket make it not only effective but very durable.

  • Included ergonomic handle, 24 hr auto time, pressure gauge and heavy duty tank make for easy pool cleaning and vacuuming.

  • Features 6 function control, making it easy to filter, backwash, rinse, recirculate, drain and close your pool.

  • Intex recommends changing the filter pump's sand once every five years!

  • Includes (1) 25 ft. 120 volt AC power cord with GFCI plug which meets safety certifications and listings by UL and CSA.

  • Installation is very easy - just hook-up the hoses and plug the pump into a 110 to 120 volt outlet.

  • Sand must be #20 Silica with particle size range of 0.45 to 0.85mm (0.018 to 0.033 inches) and a coefficient less than 1.75.

  • 2-year limited manufacturer's warranty. Warranty claims must be submitted to the manufacturer.

Love the saltwater

Love having saltwater in our pool. Just a small pool but keeps it clean and nice to swim in. THe only thing not great is that the hoses are short and there are not longer ones available ANYWHERE. We looked.

This sand filter has been wonderful! Such a time saver from having to rinse the original paper filter over 3 times per day. It helps to keep our water crystal clear and so easy to operate and maintain. We are looking at buying a bigger pool for next summer and will definitely go with a sand filter again.

I usually don't leave reviews but if you're thinking about purchasing this product, then don't think anymore. I purchased my Intex pool a couple of months ago and the included filter just wasn't cutting it. The pool would eventually turn green and I would have to completely empty it and then refill. I had thought about just getting rid of the pool. I was on the fence for awhile about purchasing the filter because I really didn't want to invest any more money into the pool.

I am extremely happy that I decided to purcase it! The pool is crystal clear now. The increased output of this filter along with getting rid of the worthless cartridge filter was well worth the purchase price. Also, it has a built in timer which is definitely an added bonus as I can't tell you how many times I had plugged in the old filter and let it run for days. Now I set the timer turn it on and walk away. I highly recommend adding the Intex pool skimmer with this as it makes the pool almost maintenance free.

It was extremely easy to install as well. All you need to add is about 40#'s of filter sand and you're up and running.
